You can visit us and all our horsey friends at one of our three visitor centres around the UK, situated in Essex, Norfolk and Warwickshire. Entry is totally free which means you can come again and again and it won’t cost you a penny! We want as many people to visit us as possible so we can show you all the work we do!

Redwings receives no government funding whatsoever and relies 100% on public donations. The most popular way to support us is to visit us and adopt one of our lovely Adoption Club Stars.

 

Ada Cole

In 2005 Redwings merged with Ada Cole Memorial Stables in Essex. Ada Cole was established in memory of a very inspirational woman who fought for animal welfare across Europe. You can meet more than 50 rescued horses, ponies, donkeys and mules here including adoption favourites Choccy, Harry, Boo, Finnegan, Misfit, Rhadlon, Katy and Dolly.

Ada Cole is open all year round. Opening times vary depending on the time of year. Winter opening hours start from 1st November and are Saturday – Wednesday 9:30am – 3:30pm, last entry 3pm. Summer opening hours begin from 26th March 2011 when we are once again open seven days a week from 10am – 5pm.

 

Oxhill

The Oxhill Rescue Centre is located near Banbury in Warwickshire and is home to some very special horses, ponies and donkeys. Adoption Club stars Felicity the donkey, naughty Welsh pony Dylan, Ex-Police Horse Will Scarlett and dinky Wensley the Shetland are always eager to say hello and make new friends.

Caldecott

Our Caldecott visitor centre is near Great Yarmouth in Norfolk. This is the largest of the three visitor centres and it is home to some very cheeky horses, ponies, donkeys and mules including the two newest members of the Adoption Club, Prince the Shire and Esther, a very sweet brown donkey. And of course the rest of the Adoption Club - Rusty, Denise, Darcey, Muffin, Oliver Twist, and Icky.

Caldecott is open March – October from 10am – 5pm every day.
