Appreciation for those who make a difference!
Here's where we give a big shout out to those of you who have been out raising money for Redwings – sometimes in very unusual ways!
If you want to tell us what you've planned already, we would love to hear from you! We can even put your event below to show all the other Young Reds members what a super job you did!

How do I get more information?
If you think you want to get involved in fundraising for Redwings but want more info, please email us at [email protected]

From quizzes to marathons, there are many ways you can support the work of Redwings Horse Sanctuary. Below are some ideas but please do let us know your own tried and tested ways!
- Hold an event at home; in the community or in school, for example cake sales, non-uniform days or quizzes
- Do a sponsored event or challenge, for example a bike ride or sponsored silence or car wash
- Football tournament, face painting
- Recycle your used mobile phone or print cartridge
- Ask for a free pin-badge collection kit
- Have one of our money boxes to fill
Below are just a few of our fab fundraisers. Keep up the great work!
Finham Primary School By holding a cake sale Finham Primary School managed to raise an amazing £286.28 for us last year! With the money they decided to adopt Arya and Cookie and donated the rest. Thank you so much! We loved the posters you made for the event and Christmas cards you made us too. |
Ava & Lacey Thank you to Ava and Lacey for sending in a donation to help us help horses. (We also loved your drawing of your horse Brego!) |
Penny A huge thank you to Penny for raising an amazing £140.00 for us! Penny and her mum attended a glass workshop to create these wonderful fused glass pieces to sell to friends and family. The designs look fantastic! |
Alex After Icky's sad passing, Alex decided to challenge himself to cycle 7 miles for Redwings Horse Sanctuary, because he wants to give ponies like Icky a good life. We hear he has completed his bike ride in under an hour. Congratulations Alex what an achievement! |
Riley After Muffin's birthday party, Riley used Red's Coin Collector to collect loose change from around his house. He managed to raise £12.38! Thank you so much Riley. |
Lauren Keen supporter Lauren recently decided to start washing cars to raise money for us. She created flyers with information of herself and Redwings and issued them around the neighbourhood. She managed to raise £110! Thanks Lauren! |
